I’m Chris McLeod, and I’m a developer living in Scotland. I work for an international IT Services company, with my main experience and current role being in the Oil & Gas sector. For now, most of my day is spent working on an HSE/Safety compliance tool for a major operator using ASP.NET (C#) and Oracle.
Outside of work I have a passion for gadgets, technology, and geek culture (which hopefully this blog reflects!). One day I’d like to write at least one of the several books I have buzzing around my head.
In 2003, my son was born. In 2005 I suffered a brain haemorrhage and still walked down the isle a few months later. In 2010 my twin daughters were born.
I’m always happy to hear from new people, whether it’s feedback on the site, to say “hi”, or make a suggestion. I’ll even consider reviewing your app, if you’re nice enough. However, if you use this form to send me an unsolicited sales pitch - especially anything about SEO services, then I will rain down on you a righteous fury like you have never before witnessed. Consider yourself warned.
